November Open Mic Night

Not a great turnout this month, but a great night non the less, Daniel, Murph and Manou all turned up and did some great performances. Jamie stopped working for a while and sang a couple of his own well penned songs and Stewart and I each did some. The night ended with Jose and his mate running home for their guitars and wowing us with some brilliant guitar playing.
Sorry I didn't take any pics this month, no reason, just didn't get round to it.
Thanks to everyone that turned up...it was a small but beautiful formed evening!!

October Open Mic Night

What a suprise...there I was thinking we'd be really quiet, we clashed this week with the very successful and long established Halo Night, but we had even more participants than last month. The quality was again stunning and it would be impossible to highlight a favourite . We kicked off with with duo Burge and Slide (sorry guys I forgot to take any photos of you, hopefully you'll be back next month and I can rectify that), followed by the ever entertaining and all round nice chap, Murphy. Next up was Dave who performed a few of his own songs. Shey followed then Piers. Daniel sang a Radiohead song accompanied by Stu on guitar. Then came Leon and finally Stewart.
Thanks to all the performers for making this a great night.
Open Mic Night

Our second open mic night went really well. The variety was great. Well done to Ciara who sang for the first time in public and pulled it off brilliantly, ably assisted by Phil who started the night off with a couple of his own songs which were quirky, entertaining and well executed . Jamie sang a couple of his songs, proving that he isn't just a great barman, amazing graphic designer but can also pen and sing a good song. We also had songs from Stewart and D (The singing landlords) followed by Murphy who among other stuff sang a great rendintion of a Wham's, Wake me up before you go go!!! Thanks to Trevor from Open Mic Me who showed up to comment on the night but ended up doing a couple of numbers. Also to Andi for ending the night with a few of her self penned poems.
